UPW has become one of the largest woollen spinners in the world and offers its customers responsibly sourced and environmentally friendly yarns which are traceable and supported by several standards (such as The Good Cashmere Standard and RWS). By implementing Haelixa’s traceability from fiber to finished product as of 2021, UPW allows its clients to rely on future-proofed supply chains and verify that their products are sourced and produced in their facilities according to their set standards.
Project Scope
Haelixa has developed a unique DNA marker for UPW to assure the quality and authenticity of the yarns. Their yarn collection is traced back to UPW’s dying and spinning facilities in Dongguan, where the fibers were marked.
